Migration Museum
The Migration Museum houses a number of permanent exhibitions and provides a fascinating insight into the immigration and settlement history of South Australia.
Be sure to spend some time in the courtyard in front of the museum, reading the many bricks displaying the names and arrival dates of the immigrants that settled in this ‘Free State”.

National Motor Museum
Since 1965 millions of people have enjoyed discovering their motoring heritage at the National Motor Museum, Birdwood in the Adelaide Hills.
As an international centre for the collection, research, preservation, education and display of Australian road transport history, the National Motor Museum is much more than a collection of vehicles.
It is a social history of the way Australians once were, the way they are now and the way of the future.
South Australian Maritime Museum
The South Australian Maritime Museum is custodian to one of the oldest nautical collections in Australia.
It was established in 1872 by local and international seafarers wanting a home for their collected treasures and curios.
R.M. Williams Outback Museum
The R.M. Williams Outback Heritage Museum is one of the premier museums of Adelaide and displays artifacts of the famous R.M. Williams.
He was a well-digger, boot maker and more, who became one of the most famous business legends of Australia.

National Railway Museum
Take a journey into railway history at the National Railway Museum, Australia’s largest railway museum with over 100 exhibits representing state, Commonwealth and private railway operators on the three major rail gauges used in Australia.
