Tandanya Aboriginal Art Gallery
See authentic Aboriginal art and culture

Learn of the underlying spiritual significance of Aboriginal art in its different forms and styles, be entertained by a didgeridoo performance and hear the Dreaming story of Tarnda, the Red Kangaroo.
Tandanya is the world’s first Indigenous-owned and managed multi-arts centre and is housed in a century-old converted electricity substation in Adelaide’s Grenfell Street. It feels like an art gallery, but in keeping with the culture of sharing and community, it’s also a place of meeting. Immerse yourself in the art and enjoy the cultural performances. New Indigenous art exhibitions open every six to eight weeks.
The Tandanya shop sells authentic indigenous arts and crafts, didgeridoos, books, clothing and music.
