Wine & Food

View Over The Vineyards, Ashton Hills Winery, Adelaide Hills, South Australia

With more than 30 cellar doors tucked away in the green, undulating landscape, you’ll have great fun exploring the Adelaide Hills region and discovering its fantastic wines.

You can pick up an Adelaide Hills Cellar Door Guide, listing all the various wineries and their opening times, from the Adelaide Hills Visitor Information Centre at 41 Main Street, Hahndorf, or from select cellar doors.

At the Visitor Information Centre you can also pick up a copy of the ‘Fabulous Adelaide Hills Food Trails’, which will guide you on a fun journey of complimentary tastings of Adelaide Hills produce and also introduce you to venues where you can savour that quintessential Hills dining experience.

From Hahndorf you can also embark on the Adelaide Hills Cheese & Wine Trail which enables you to visit a variety of cellar doors in the Hills and enjoy a progressive picnic that matches select wines to artisan cheeses - all the time unwinding in stunning surroundings. Pick up your hamper from the Udder Delights Cheese Cellar at 91A Main Street, Hahndorf

The steep hillsides and valleys of the region are lined with vineyards, orchards and market gardens. The towns are home to some of Australia’s most innovative boutique wineries, food producers and restaurants.
