Mount Horrocks

Owner/winemaker/Kiwi from Timaru Stephanie Toole’s Cordon Cut Riesling has been enjoyed by the Queen and Brad Pitt. You could be next.
Producing 4,500 cases a year, Mount Horrocks Wines is a boutique winery creating high-quality, award-winning wines from estate grown fruit.
Six wine varieties are produced under the Mount Horrocks Wines label, including Riesling, Semillon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and the Cordon Cut Riesling which was served to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second at her 80th birthday. For the third year, James Halliday awarded Mount Horrocks a five star rating in his 2009 Australian Wine Companion and Stephanie was nominated as one of the eight finalists for the prestigious winemaking award: 2007 Gourmet Traveller Australian Winemaker of the Year.
You can also taste the wines with delicious food at The Station Cafe, next to the winery, operated by leading local chef Andrea Mitchell.
