Sevenhill Cellars

Established by the Jesuits in 1851, Sevenhill Cellars is the oldest and arguably the finest existing winery in the world-famous Clare Valley wine region.
The winery originally provided sacramental wine for religious purposes.
Today Sevenhill Cellars is considered one of Australia’s best premium wine producers and a thriving tourist attraction.
Sevenhill Cellars produce a range of quality white, red and fortified wines that are enjoyed by wine enthusiasts throughout the world. Rich varietal characters and a rare depth of intricate flavours make Sevenhill’s wines a regular favourite with wine judges.
Visitors can sample and purchase the wines, explore remarkable underground cellars, visit the Crypt resting place for 41 Jesuits, discover walking trails or enjoy a picnic in the grounds.
