Arkaba Station
Arkaba is a 100 sq. mile sheep station carrying 7000 sheep.
It is one of the oldest pastoral properties in South Australia. Established in 1851 by the Brown Brothers, two English Doctors, the Homestead and stone woolshed were built in 1856, and the woolshed is still in use today.
A variety of accommodation options are available from bush camping and a self-contained B&B cottage to coach house accommodation or as a hosted guest of the owners in their beautiful Homestead.
Rawnsley Park Station
Overlooking the southern side of Wilpena Pound, Rawnsley Park Station provides the perfect base for exploring the Flinders Ranges. Accommodation includes luxury eco-villas, holiday units, a caravan park and some of the best campsites you’ll find in the Flinders Ranges.
Wildlife, birdlife and flora abounds on the Station, and four-wheel drive tours, bushwalking, scenic flights and cycling are all available.There’s even a licensed restaurant serving country-style food, a swimming pool and general store.
Wilpena Pound Resort
Wilpena Pound Resort nestles unobtrusively against a backdrop of ragged mountains, right at the entrance to Wilpena Pound.
The Resort offers a variety of accommodation to cater to all budgets from superior 4 star hotel style rooms to fully self contained units with kitchenettes. Camping and caravannig sites are also available.
On site facilities include pool, bar, restaurant, shop,scenic flights and tours.
Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary

Angorichina Station
Angorichina is a sheep station located 10 minutes drive east of Blinman.
Covering 554 sq. kilometres it has been in the Fargher family for four generations. Flight transfers are available from Adelaide and take approximately two and a half hours each way.
Angorichina Homestead is an oasis in an otherwise severe, yet beautiful environment. Within its thick stone walls is a world of calm and grace - music, flowers, books and antique furnishings surround you, while mouth-watering cooking aromas float from the kitchen.
Dating from the 1860’s, this original homestead is a classic of Australian vernacular architecture. There are two guest rooms, one located under the homestead’s front veranda and the other a separate garden cottage that once functioned as a schoolroom. Both have private bathroom facilities.
Beltana Station
Beltana Station, incorporating Puttapa Station covers an area of 410,000 acres and is a working property with up to 7000 sheep and 1500 cattle at any one time.
Accommodation consists of historic shearers quarters (constructed of local stone), featuring 10 comfortable rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and large dining room. All amenities are shared.
Merna Mora Station
Merna Mora Station is located 46 kilometres north of Hawker on the Leigh Creek - Marree Road.
This sheep station provides a relaxing atmosphere and the opportunity to tour the nearby Flinders Ranges, in particular, the Moralana Scenic Route, Wilpena Pound, Brachina and Parachilna Gorges. To the north are the Leigh Creek Coalfields and Blinman, to the south, Hawker and Quorn.
Merna Mora has nine self-contained stone and brick units adjacent to the homestead, plus backpacker accommodation with share facilities.
Wirrealpa Station Shearers Quarters
Wirrealpa Station is a 1,650 sq. kilometre sheep and cattle station situated on the east side of the Flinders Ranges.
The Shearers Quarters were built in 1860 and still retain their authentic charm, with a wood stove (gas stove too) in the kitchen and dining tables in the adjoining dining room. There are nine bedrooms sleeping up to 21 people. The Quarters are powered by an integrated solar/generator system and all bedrooms have fans. Bathroom facilities are shared and the communal kitchen and dining facilities are fully self-contained and include barbecue facilities.
One of Wirrealpa’s most unique attractions is the vast look of the Outback plains from the Flinders Ranges. Its location creates a diverse range of flora and fauna common to the area. It has world-class fossil locations, the Grindstone Range and Aboriginal carvings.
