B&Bs and Cottages
Heritage B&B or cottage accommodation is a very popular choice when staying overnight in McLaren Vale. Many of the B&B’s are nestled in a vineyard, tucked down a village sidestreet or down by the sea. B&B accommodation can be either hosted or self-contained.
Hosted B&B’s provide a great opportunity to meet the locals, since you’ll often be staying in the proprietors’ home. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom but may share a common lounge and dining area. In some establishments you’ll sit down for breakfast and dinner with the owners.
Un-hosted, self-contained B&B’s are also very popular. With your own self-contained cottage, you can come and go as you please with breakfast provisons left out for you to prepare and enjoy at your leisure.
McLaren Ridge is a panoramic and secluded vineyard property at the northern end of McLaren Vale. The vineyard is home to three well appointed self-contained log cabins; ‘Villa McLaren Ridge’ - a spacious family homestead with pool and jacuzzi, and a contemporary cellar door.
Neighbouringh Port Willunga Cottages offer a choice of luxury cottages that are also very popular with locals, so be sure to book early, especially for a weekend stay.
