This historical village is literally a step back in time to the late 1890’s, early 1900’s, when the Loxton Township was just being developed.
There are over 30 fully furnished buildings and exhibits depicting and preserving the history and way of life of the early Riverland settlers.
The “Village Alive” Days are a must for experiencing village life exactly as it was – with full working exhibits. The General Store opens for business with the smell of freshly baked bread wafting through the air - as children sing in the schoolroom and the blacksmith is heard clanging in the distance.
