Swimming with wildlife in South Australia
Sea lions, dolphins and more...

For nature lovers, it doesn’t get much better than this.
Swim with wild sea lions and dolphins as they play and dive around you.
Observe giant cuttlefish – the amazing ‘chameleons of the sea’ – as you snorkel or dive in the protected waters near Whyalla on the Eyre Peninsula.
The colony of bottle-nosed dolphins at Glenelg and in the Port River, Adelaide, seem to welcome visitors. Take a catamaran tour to view and swim with them. They are also often seen riding the bow wave of the ferry as it crosses to Kangaroo Island from Cape Jervis.
Baird Bay on Eyre Peninsula is where you can swim with sea lions in their own underwater playground – under the supervision of experienced guides, of course!
For a real adrenalin rush and a close encounter with a Great White Shark, try cage diving in the waters south of Port Lincoln. And why not try swimming with the magnificent Bluefin Tuna.
