The Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive is the ultimate Outback experience. Climb into the saddle and help herd cattle along one of Australia’s most evocative stock trails, passing through inspirational landscapes and collecting a swag of adventure stories along the way.
First held as part of the Year of the Outback in 2002, this remarkable event was held again in 2005 when Baz Luhrmann took part, seeking inspiration for the pivotal droving scene in the movie ‘Australia’.
In 2010 The Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive will run from 30 July to 29 August, and will feature six tours of 4 night/5 days duration.
