Sport Events in South Australia
Join us at a great sporting event...

Australian’s love their sport and they love hosting sports events even more. One of South Australia’s largest annual sporting events is the Tour Down Under, which attracts international cyclists every January for the first UCI Pro Tour race of the season. The cyclists compete in a series of grueling road races through Adelaide and various rural regions. Staging international motor racing events is also something South Australia does very well.
In March every year, the country’s premier touring car event, the Clipsal 500, thunders around the Adelaide street circuit in front of crowds in excess of 250,000.
