Let someone else drive

A great way to get around South Australia is on a guided coach tour. A number of coach companies provide extended tours that combine sightseeing and quality accommodation with fine food, good company and great local knowledge.

Australian Pacific Touring, AAT Kings and Scenic Tours are three of Australia’s largest touring companies and have a number of itineraries that include travel in South Australia. Wayward Bus, Heading Bush and Groovy Grape offer small group tours for the budget-minded. They have very informative guides, flexible itineraries and are great value.

Once in Adelaide, it’s the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding regions. If you don’t want to drive, there are many excellent day and extended touring options available from the city to the Barossa, McLaren Vale, Kangaroo Island, Murray River, Clare Valley, Flinders Ranges and the Outback.
